Early Life
Eminem born on 17 October 19972 in St, Joseph, Missouri. His parents were the part of a band called Daddy Warbucks. When Eminem was one and a half year old, his father abandoned the family. He was raised by his mother Debbie.
Eminem and his mother moved to various places before settling down in Detroit. They were living a very hard life in poverty. They rarely stayed at one place for more than 1 and 2 years. Most of the times they used to live with there relatives.
Eminem was interested in story telling, before getting introduced to hip hop he was aspired to be a comic artist. Debbie’s half brother Ronnie Polkingharn gifted her a soundtrack Breakin. It was the first time Eminem heard a rap Reckless featuring Ice-T. Later Polkingham became the musical mentor of Eminem.

Music Career
In 1992 Eminem appeared in his first video and later he released The Underground E.P in 1997 with other D12 rappers. In 1995-1996, he released his first album Infinite for Web Entertainment label after signing with F.B.T Production.
Going through hard times with no money, Eminem developed alter ego which he named Slim Shady. In 1997, he released his debut EP, Slim Shady EP. In this EP, Eminem discussed about dealing with drug use, sexual acts, mental instability and violence. This EP gave Eminem a little hype. Eminem was featured in “Unsigned Hype” column of The Source in 1998.
After listening Slim Shady, Dr. Dre, founder of Aftermath Entertainment, gave Eminem the break he was looking for. Eminem get signed to Aftermath and Interscope. Dr. Dre criticized for hiring a white rapper. But Dr. Dre replied
