Max Verstappen is the youngest person ever to participate in Formula 1 Racing weekend. His age was 17 years and 3 days. He is also the youngest driver to start a World Championship race as a full time driver at the age of 17 years and 166 days. He achieved this in his Grand Prix debut at 2015 Australian Grand Prix.
Max is the youngest racer to score Formula 1 and World Championship point at the age of 17 years and 180 days. Causing an accident during the race in 2015, Max was given a five-place grid penalty.
He finished 4th at the United States Grand Prix and in Hungary in 2015. At the end of the season, Max abled to snatch 3 awards “Rookie of the Year”, “Personality of the Year” and “Action of the Year” at FIA Prize Giving Ceremony.
Red Bull
Max Verstappen joined with Red Bull Racing in 2016. On 5 May 2016, Max replaced Daniil Kvyat for Spanish Grand Prix. He qualified 4th for Spanish Grand Prix and Rose to 2nd position. Max held off Kimi Räikkönen of Ferrari and won his first Formula 1 race. And at the age of 18 years and 288 days, he became the youngest driver ever in the history of Formula 1 to win a Grand Prix.
In 2017, Max won his 2nd Formula 1 race at Malaysian Grand Prix. He passed then three time champion Lewis Hamilton to snatch 1st position on the podium. Verstappen finished 2nd n Japan and 3rd in U.S Grand Prix. He won his 3rd Formula 1 race at Mexican Grand Prix. He passed Sebastian Vettel on the opening lap.
