Shohei Ohtani played baseball for Hanamaki Higashi High School. He was also a very good swimmer. In 2012, Ohtani set a high school record as an 18 years old school boy. He threw the ball with a speed of 99 mph (160km/h). Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters (2013–2017)
